Who We Are
We are a leadership board consisting of high school students who plan special events and programs for the Calabasas Community. Sponsored by the City of Calabasas, TAC is comprised of students who are currently attending local high schools. Our meetings are student governed with the assistance of City staff.
What We Do
We organize and plan our own events as well as assist with City sponsored programs such as the annual Fine Arts Festival, Egg Hunt, and the Calabasas Pumpkin Festival.
The Teen Activities Council offers students a chance to gain not only community service hours but valuable leadership skills as well. Students are involved in all aspects of a special event planning such as developing a budget, designing a marketing plan and implementing the necessary logistics. TAC also provides opportunities to make new friends and have fun!
How to Join
Simply attend a meeting and pick up an application. It’s that simple. Any high school student in the Las Virgenes School District or private schools within the Calabasas region is eligible to join. No experience necessary.
TAC meetings are held September – May on Wednesday afternoons at 4:00 p.m. at:
200 Civic Center Way
Calabasas, CA 91302
