The 2020 Beach Bus is cancelled due to COVID
The Calabasas Summer Beach Bus program is for residents of Calabasas and Hidden Hills providing easy public transit between Calabasas and Zuma Beach. Riders pay a $2.00 fee each way and Summer School Pass holders ride free!
2020 Schedule (dates TBD)
- Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays Only
- No Beach Bus on Wednesdays & Holidays
Rates
- $2.00 paid each way upon entering the bus,
- $4.00 will be charged round-trip
- Exact change required.

New Rules for Beach Bus Riders – Local IDs Required
Before boarding the bus, riders under the age of 18 will be required to present proof of residency from Calabasas or Hidden Hills OR show an id from one of the following Calabasas based schools: AC Stelle, AE Wright, Calabasas High School, MUSE School or Viewpoint Academy. Adults will be required to show proof of residency from either city.
Public transit operates one shuttle per day and seating is limited. Once the bus is full, it will proceed to the final destination. Schedules are subject to change.
Once at the beach there is no supervision, aside from on-duty life guards.
To make sure you still have options to get to the beach if there is no room, or if you missed a bus, here are some other local options:
