The City of Calabasas has a Traffic Mitigation Fee (TMF) program to help fund transportation improvements needed to address increased traffic from future land development or redevelopment. These fees ensure that new development fairly shares the cost of necessary traffic improvements and support projects identified in the General Plan Circulation Element.

The Environmental Services Division manages the regulation of mobile car wash operations. All mobile commercial car wash operations in Calabasas must have a City permit to prevent pollutants from entering the storm drain system. All permits are processed exclusively through the City's online permitting portal. 

The City of Calabasas has established Preferential Parking Districts in areas where nearby businesses, schools, or other facilities create high parking demand, making it difficult for residents or employees to find parking. These districts restrict parking for all motorists, except for residents and their guests with a valid permit during posted hours.
