These are online materials for patrons and do not need a Calabasas library card.We hope you consider getting a library card once we reopen, if you do not have one.

A News Literacy Challenge Workshop
Join UMaine's Fogler Library and the Department of Communication and Journalism for Friend, Enemy, or Frenemy? Activities include discerning fact from fiction in popular news stories, de/constructing the purpose and content of the news and examining the role of confirmation bias in how we interact with news media.

California COVID Diaries
All Californians of all ages are invited to submit stories, journal entries, poems, artwork, photographs and other forms of expression documenting their experiences during the COVID-19 pandemic.  California COVID Diaries, is a community history archive launched by the California State Library.

Enki library Enki library is the first statewide e-book platform created by libraries for libraries. With over 70,000 e-book titles in this shared collection, enki provides a collection of popular fiction and nonfiction genres including romance, mysteries, travel, technical, crafts, cooking and more.

On phones and tablets, patrons can read through their browser or on a number of e-reader apps available. If on a laptop or computer, you can download the title through Adobe Digital Editions or read through the browser.

Become an active explorer with hundreds of explore-for-yourself exhibits, a website with over 35,000 pages of content, film screenings, evening art and science events for adults, plus much more.

Graphic Medicine A collection of online COVID-19 comics as well as links to and reviews of graphic novels about the experience of illness.

Harry Potter At Home This is where you’ll find all the latest magical treats to keep you occupied – including special contributions from Bloomsbury and Scholastic, nifty magical craft videos (teach your friends how to draw a Niffler!), fun articles, quizzes, puzzles and plenty more for first-time readers, as well as those already familiar with the wizarding world.


LACMA - Make Art @ Home - Collaborative Family Art Quilts

In this fun family activity, you will create a collaborative, hanging art quilt that touches upon themes of family and community.
