MANDATORY PLAYER EVALUATIONS & TEAM ASSIGNMENTS

Tiny Tots Division - Ages 5 - 6
Our youngest players are placed onto teams based on personal requests or grouped with players from their same school. Requests for specific coaches or friends are made during registration. We do our best to honor request but are not always guaranteed. Each team carries 10 players. Coaches contact players directly regarding their team assignments.

Pee Wee, Hot Shot, NBA, and Junior Divisions - Ages 7 to 15
The League emphasizes skill development and player participation for all. There are no "try-outs" but players are required to attend an evaluation to receive a skill rating (all skill levels are welcome!).  Players are "drafted" by coaches in an effort to create teams with generally equal skill levels.   Requests for placement with friends or preferred coaches cannot be honored at this level.   Once teams are formed there are no trades or switching players to another team.  Coaches contact players directly regarding their team assignments.
Note: Siblings playing within the same division are automatically placed on the same team.  Players without an evaluation at the time of the draft will automatically be placed on the waitlist.

PRACTICES

Practices and game schedules are determined by the availability of facilities and the volunteer coaches. Despite a desire to be accommodating, the League is unable to oblige personal scheduling requests made by players. Practices are one hour / once per week and may take place Sunday through Friday between 4:00pm to 8:00pm.  Coaches notify players of their practice times and locations.

GAME DAYS

Games are typically held once per week on Saturdays between 8:00am - 7:00pm or weeknights between 4:00pm - 8:00pm.  Weeknight games are scheduled during playoffs.  Playoff schedules are announced at the end of the season and are based on final league standings. Every team makes it to at least one playoff game.
