Film permits are required for any production filming or still shoots within the Calabasas City limits.

If your project involves the use of public right-of-way (streets, sidewalks, etc.), then please allow 2-3 weeks for processing in case public safety agencies need to review the film permit application.

For more information, contact the City at (818) 224-1736.

Los Angeles County Public Health Order - Appendix J and the Los Angeles County household orders have limited filming allowances to apply to only commercial facilities licensed/built for/able to accommodate filming. Filming on residential properties is currently suspended due to Los Angeles County Public Health Department orders and guidelines until further notice.
