PARTICIPATE IN THE PACE PROGRAM
Calabasas is proud to join more than 360 cities, towns, and counties across California offering access to Property Assessed Clean Energy (PACE) financing.
PACE allows eligible homeowners to finance energy efficiency, water conservation, and safety improvements – often with no upfront costs. By supporting these upgrades, PACE also contributes to a more resilient and sustainable community by helping reduce energy and water use, lowering greenhouse gas emissions and supporting a more sustainable and resilient community.
Commercial businesses can apply for this program through Home Run Financing.
Learn how PACE works and what to consider before applying through approved program administrators, Home Run Financing and Renew Financial.

SHARE YOUR FEEDBACK ON THE DRAFT COMMUNITY WILDFIRE PROTECTION PLAN
The City of Calabasas is preparing a Community Wildfire Protection Plan (CWPP) to help the community prepare for and adapt to wildfire.
During the Public Review stage for the Draft CWPP, we invite input from community members, agencies, environmental groups and other interested parties to help ensure the CWPP reflects the priorities of the community.
Please review the CWPP and submit any comments through the public feedback box for the project Story Map by March 13.
BRUSH CLEARING WITH GOATS
Beginning in March, a herd of 500 goats will arrive in the City of Calabasas open space areas to provide much-needed fuel reduction in strategic fire-prone areas identified by the Los Angeles County Fire Department.
The fuels reduction project is in partnership with the City of Calabasas, the Mountains Recreation and Conservation Authority (MRCA), and the Los Angeles County Fire Department through the Statewide Fuels Reduction Environmental Protection Plan. The project aims to create strategic defensible space around Santa Monica Mountains communities including Topanga, Malibu, Calabasas and Agoura Hills.
Environmental consulting firm, Dudek, completed biological surveys and flagged sensitive species, while Native American tribal monitors will be present at each location. Los Angeles County Fire will provide an on-site professional forester to monitor the projects.
