Congratulations to the Class of 2026!
This week marked the successful completion of another academic school year and an important milestone for many students in our community. Calabasas High School celebrated its graduating Class of 2026 on June 11th, while A.C. Stelle, and A.E. Wright Middle Schools recognized their eighth-grade students during promotion ceremonies on June 10th.
On behalf of the City of Calabasas, congratulations to all of our graduates and promoted students. Your hard work, perseverance, and achievements have brought you to this exciting moment, and we are proud of all you have accomplished.
We also extend our gratitude to the families, teachers, administrators, and school staff whose support and dedication help make these successes possible. Best wishes to our students as they enjoy a well-deserved summer and prepare for the opportunities and adventures that lie ahead.
Explore Calabasas Hiking Program: Escondido Falls Hike
On June 6th, participants in the Explore Calabasas Hiking Program enjoyed a memorable trek to Escondido Falls and Parker Mesa Overlook in Malibu. The guided hike offered stunning natural scenery, fresh air, and an opportunity for hikers to connect with others while exploring one of the region’s most scenic outdoor destinations.
The Explore Calabasas Hiking Program is designed to encourage healthy, active lifestyles while showcasing the many beautiful trails found throughout the local area. Whether you are an experienced hiker or simply looking for a new way to enjoy the outdoors, the program offers a fun and rewarding opportunity to discover nature, build community, and experience new adventures. Online Education for E-Bike Riders
As e-bike use continues to grow and communities adapt to recently updated e-bike regulations, the cities of Calabasas, Agoura Hills, and Westlake Village are partnering to promote safe and responsible riding through the E-Bike Academy. This online educational program helps riders better understand local rules, traffic laws, safety practices, and how to share trails and roadways respectfully with pedestrians, cyclists, and motorists. Whether you are new to e-bikes or a longtime rider, the E-Bike Academy offers valuable information to help keep our community safe.a

Listening Lounge on June 17th
Join us at the Civic Center Amphitheater on Tuesday, June 17th, from 6 to 8 p.m., for the Calabasas Listening Lounge, an evening showcasing the diverse talents of local poets, storytellers, and musicians.
Whether you are a seasoned performer or taking the stage for the first time, all are welcome to participate or enjoy an evening of community entertainment. Admission is free, and performers must be ages 13 and older. Performer pre-registration is highly encouraged and opens one day before the event. Paradise Circuit Undergrounding Project Anticipated to Begin This Summer
Southern California Edison (SCE) is scheduled to begin a targeted undergrounding project along Old Topanga Canyon Road in late June or early July as part of its ongoing wildfire mitigation and electric system resiliency efforts. By relocating overhead power lines underground, the project is intended to reduce wildfire risk and improve electrical reliability during extreme weather conditions.
Underground electrical infrastructure is less vulnerable to high winds, vegetation impacts, and other hazards that can contribute to power outages and wildfire ignitions. These improvements are designed to help create a safer and more resilient electric system for the Calabasas community.
Residents and motorists should expect intermittent lane closures, minor traffic delays, and construction-related noise during approved work hours. Construction is anticipated to occur Monday through Friday from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m., and continue through the third quarter of 2027.
