Reflecting on the 20th Annual Cal Cup Bowling Tournament
The Calabasas Chamber of Commerce sponsored the 20th annual Cal Cup Bowling Tournament on Friday, April 10th. This lively and fun-filled event brought residents and business leaders together to support local scholarships through bowling, a mini silent auction, and fellowship. It was great to see everyone celebrate our shared community spirit while giving back.

Law Day: Free Legal Consultation on May 1st
In recognition of Law Day, the Calabasas Chamber of Commerce, in collaboration with the City of Calabasas, is offering residents a free, 45-minute legal consultation with licensed attorneys on Friday, May 1st.
This is a valuable opportunity to receive guidance on a variety of legal matters in a confidential, one-on-one setting. Appointments are required, and participants are encouraged to bring any relevant documents or materials related to their legal questions.
Whether you are seeking clarity on a specific issue or simply looking for general legal insight, this service is here to help support and inform our community. Please register by April 27th.

THE Event F1 Casino Night: April 25th
Support local education at THE Event on April 25th at the Calabasas Country Club, a special evening hosted by The Foundation for Las Virgenes Schools that brings the community together in support of local students. Now in its 15th year, this beloved tradition offers a warm and welcoming night filled with great food, live entertainment, exciting auctions, and casino-style games, all in a shared spirit of giving back.
Thanks to the generosity of the community, The Foundation has contributed more than $2 million to local schools, helping enrich programs and opportunities for students across the Las Virgenes Unified School District. Join friends, neighbors, and community leaders for a meaningful evening where coming together makes a lasting difference.

Vacancy Notice: Student Commissioners
The City of Calabasas has openings for Student Commissioners in the following Commissions: Communications & Technology; Environmental; Historic Preservation; Library; Parks, Recreation, & Education; Public Safety; and Traffic & Transportation.
Each Commission may appoint one Student Commissioner for a one-year term from June 2026 to June 2027. Applicants must be high school students lawfully residing in the City of Calabasas. Applications must be received by May 6th at 5 p.m. Following the close of the recruitment period, applicants can expect to appear before their selected Commission for further evaluation.

Voter Information Night on April 27th
Please join Mayor Pro Tem Edward Albrecht and I for Voter Information Night on Monday, April 27th, from 7 to 8 p.m. at Founders Hall, 200 Civic Center Way, located behind the Library at the Civic Center. This informative session is a great opportunity to learn more about what will be on the June 2nd, 2026 Primary Election ballot and to stay informed ahead of Election Day. I encourage all residents to attend and be part of this important community conversation.

Bark Park Butterfly Garden Dedication Ceremony on April 21st
Join the Las Virgenes Municipal Water District in celebrating the grand opening of a vibrant new Butterfly Garden at Calabasas Bark Park on Tuesday, April 21st at 4 p.m. This special commemoration brings the community together to highlight the importance of pollinator-friendly spaces and sustainable landscaping. The new garden offers a welcoming habitat for butterflies while enhancing the park for visitors and their pets.
