Craftsman’s Corner Annexation
In one of the most significant developments in recent Calabasas history, the Los Angeles County Board of Supervisors gave preliminary approval for Calabasas to annex a one-quarter square mile section of unincorporated territory known colloquially as “Craftsman’s Corner.” This area is situated along the northern border of Calabasas, adjacent to where Parkway Calabasas intersects the 101 Freeway. There are a few more steps in the annexation process, including a potential plebiscite of registered voters who live in Craftsman’s Corner. It is anticipated that the annexation could be completed by the end of this year.

The City of Calabasas supports clean transportation with several public electric vehicle (EV) charging stations conveniently located throughout the community. Whether you are running errands or attending a meeting, charging options are available at:

• Calabasas Tennis & Swim Center – 23400 Park Sorrento
• Old Town Calabasas Park & Ride – 23577 Calabasas Road
• Rondell Park & Ride – 26300 Rondell Street
• Juan Bautista de Anza Park – 3701 Lost Hills Road

These stations make it easy to recharge while you are on the go. Visit the City’s website for details, and consider using a charging app to check availability and plan your stop.

Capture Calabasas Photo Contest
Every few months, our Community Services team collects photo submissions for the ongoing Capture Calabasas Photo Contest — a creative way to showcase our community through the eyes of those who call it home. Selected photos are featured in City communications and help tell the story of Calabasas from our residents’ perspectives.

Smooches with Pooches – February 14
Stop by Calabasas Bark Park tomorrow, February 14, from 9 to 11 a.m. to celebrate Valentine’s Day with our four-legged friends. Enjoy dogs, morning coffee, and a sweet treat from See’s Candies, courtesy of the Rotary Club of Calabasas (while supplies last).

Butterflies in Bloom Environmental Forum
The City of Calabasas Environmental Commission’s 2026 Annual Environmental Forum, Butterflies in Bloom, is happening on Thursday, February 19, from 6 to 8 p.m. at Founders Hall, 200 Civic Center Way. 

This engaging discussion will focus on pollinators, biodiversity, and local conservation efforts.

The free, public forum is open to all and offers a meaningful opportunity to learn how environmental stewardship helps support a healthy, thriving Calabasas community.

Apply to Join the Architectural Review Panel
The City of Calabasas currently has two seats available on its Architectural Review Panel, offering residents a meaningful opportunity to help shape the architecture and landscape of commercial projects, signage, and residential projects throughout the community.

Applications are due February 20.  If you are interested in contributing your voice and perspective, learn more about the Panel and submit an application through the City’s website.

Calabasas Chamber Networking Luncheon – February 26
Join fellow business and community leaders for a Calabasas Chamber of Commerce Networking Luncheon on Thursday, February 26, from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Calabasas Country Club.

This gathering offers an opportunity to learn more about the City’s prospective sales tax measure, connect with local professionals, and enjoy a shared lunch in a welcoming setting. Registration is $50 for Chamber members and $75 for guests.

Presidents Day
In observance of Presidents Day, City Hall will be closed on Monday, February 16.  This holiday honors the leaders who have shaped our nation and provides a moment to reflect on the values of service and civic engagement. Regular City Hall hours will resume the following business day.
