Making a Difference: The Foundation for Las Virgenes Schools
This week, I’d like to highlight the Foundation for Las Virgenes Schools, a nonprofit organization dedicated to ensuring that every student across Las Virgenes Unified School District (LVUSD) has access to an exceptional education.
The Foundation’s programs help fund additional credentialed teachers to reduce class sizes, expand Science, Technology, Engineering, Art and Mathematics instruction, support academic and mental health counselors and enhance curriculum and extracurricular opportunities.
You can make a difference this Thanksgiving by taking part in the Foundation’s Thanksgiving Dinner Fundraiser, hosted in partnership with Sisters Supper Club at Cielo Farms, 31424 Mulholland Highway. With every order, 10% is donated straight to LVUSD schools.
Choose from two delicious options designed to feed six to eight people:
- Thanksgiving Dinner – $350
- Everything but the Turkey – $200
Pickup is available on Nov. 25 -26, or delivery is available for an additional $25. With your meal purchase, you’ll also enjoy admission to The Barn at Cielo Farms and a complimentary tasting on select days in November and December. You can also pre-order a Thanksgiving Wine Special for easy pickup at the winery, or join in the fun at Malibu Comedy Nights at The Barn on Nov. 20 or Dec. 18.
Enjoy a memorable meal while giving back to local schools that help our community thrive.
