Expert Insights into History Speaker Series with the Leonis Adobe Museum

Maya DeBus, a Leonis Adobe Museum Guide, and a lifelong history enthusiast will discuss the transformation of women at the start of the 20th century. At the end of the Victorian era, advances in industry and technology presented women with new confidence and opportunities.

Maya is also a member of the Antique Purse Collectors Society and will be showing some of her collection of vintage purses from the era.
