An exceptional summer nature camp is offered to children ages 8 to 12 years old.  Campers will participate in a positive, fun and enriching learning experience.  Activities are offered with a strong science and environmental focus.

Participants will create nature crafts and may interact with live animals.  With the aid of scientific tools, hands-on activities and games, children will discover the wonders of nature.  Each session will offer a hike in the Cold Creek Preserve.  Most programs will feature guest speakers.

Each day is centered on a different theme.  Topics include Insects, Reptiles & Amphibians, Paleontology, Geology, Stream Ecology, Mammals, Birds, Astronomy, Fire Ecology and Native Americans.
