NationalNightOutCalabasas recognizes the
34th Annual National Night Out
Tuesday, August 1, 2017, 6
:30 p.m. - 10:00 p.m.

The Malibu/Lost Hills Sheriffs and the City of Calabasas are encouraging community members to participate in this year's National Night Out by locking their doors, turning on outside lights, and spending the evening outside with neighbors. Organize block parties, cookouts, parades, festivals, visits from the Sheriff’s, neighborhood walks, safety fairs, contest rallies or meetings.

A Calabasas Event will be held on the cul-de-sac by Freedom Park, on the corner of Parched Dr. & Balcony Dr. (the gate at Parched Dr. will be open during the evening).  Members of the The Malibu/Lost Hills Sheriffs will be on-hand to answer questions and provide demonstrations of their equipment.

NNO has proven to be an effective, inexpensive and enjoyable annual community-building campaign that promotes police-community partnerships and neighborhood camaraderie to make our neighborhoods safer, more caring places to live. NNO  enhances the relationship between neighbors and law enforcement while bringing back a true sense of community. Furthermore, it provides a great opportunity to bring police and neighbors together under positive circumstances. Plus, the benefits your community will derive from NNO will most certainly extend well beyond the one night.
