The Calabasas Library left the Los Angeles County Library System and
officially became the City of Calabasas Library on July 11, 1998.
Partially funded by a state bond, a new library was built in 2008,
at the current location in the Civic Center next to City Hall. The
library serves the Calabasas and Hidden Hills area. The Library has
about 70,000 items to check out, plus e-books, downloadable
audiobooks, magazines and online databases. Free wireless and 20
internet computers are available on site. In addition, the Library
offers free programs for patrons of all ages. Check our calendar
for current information.
