FREE ANIME MOVIE!
 The
Calabasas Library will be showing an anime movie on Saturday, May
10, 2008 at 2:00 p.m.
There is free admission and free refreshments will be served. We will
be showing a popular anime movie. This movie is unrated, but no one
under the age of 8 will be allowed to attend without an adult. For

Is Your Child's Reading Going to
the Dogs?????
Let's Hope So!!!!!
Bring your new and emerging reader (grades K-3) to
the Calabasas Library to share in a unique reading program. Therapy
dogs, trained through Paws 4 Healing, will sit (or lie!) and listen
while your child experiences the joy of reading aloud.

Library Policies
Library 2004-2005 Annual ReportLibrary services are
provided to Calabasas residents. The Library was taken over from Los Angeles
County by the City of Calabasas and officially became the
Calabasas Library on July 11, 1998.
The Calabasas
Library is located in a 12,000 square foot space, on the first
floor at 23975 Park Sorrento, Calabasas, CA 91302. There are
separate computer, periodical and children's rooms, also a large
conference room is available for your meetings, by appointment
only.

The Friends of
the Calabasas Library are a volunteer group of citizens that
organize events for the Calabasas residents to enjoy. The
Friends of the Calabasas Library meet at the library on the
first Wednesday of every month at 7:30pm.
The Calabasas
Library now has Morningstar Mutual Funds. Morningstar is
the most-trusted and most-often-cited source of unbiased mutual
fund information. And Morningstar Mutual Funds is the
most comprehensive and authoritative resource for evaluating,
comparing and choosing mutual funds.
The Grand Opening
celebration for the new library location was held on March 16,
2002.
