Community Center
A five-city, drive-thru Flu shot clinic took place
on Saturday, November 14, 2009 at the
Agoura/Calabasas
Community Center,
27040 Malibu Hills Rd in Calabasas sponsored by the cities of Calabasas,
Agoura Hills, Hidden Hills, Malibu, and Westlake Village in
association with
Pierce College,
the
Los Angeles
County Department of Public Health,
& the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department.
Free seasonal flu shots were
available to anyone over the age of 6 months and H1N1 vaccine
was administered to to groups
designated by the CDC for initial H1N1 vaccination.
The event began
just before 10:00a.m. and lasted until 2:30p.m. (1.5 hours after
posted closing time).
A total of 514 vehicles came through the flu clinic. 1,324
doses of H1N1 vaccine were administered to priority patients and
123 doses of seasonal vaccines were also administered.
