LAURIE STEVENS

The Dark Before Dawn- Grisly murders are taking place in the Santa Monica Mountains.  On each of the victim’s bodies is a note left for the L.A. Sheriff detective... "Stevens sets the stage for graphic sensory details and a fast-paced, tantalizing mystery that utilizes her passion and research in forensics and psychology." - Kirkus star review
  DAVID ROCKLIN

The Luminist, is a weave of legend and history, science and art, politics and domesticity that are symphonic themes in the main title, the story of an enduring and forbidden friendship”. —Jacquelyn Mitchard.      History, art, celebratory feminism, rapturous writing and true suspense— this is a staggeringly good book." -Kirkus starred review
