Author and native son of the San Fernando Valley, David Coscia will speak about his passion for railroads, especially those in the San Fernando Valley. He will discuss the effects of transportation on the area, sharing stories about Pacific Electric Railway, Southern Pacific Railroad, Original Stage Line and the Asbury Rapid Transit System.

His book gives the history of the Pacific Electric from its arrival the San Fernando Valley in 1911 until its exit in 1952.
