The speaker this month will be Joel Kallich. He will provide a look into the history and culture of the Chumash people who lived in this area before the Spanish settlers arrived in the 1700s. The Calabasas Historical Society has an extensive collection of materials on the Chumash and other tribes who lived in Southern California. These materials will be on display at the talk.
