Join the Calabasas Historical
Society (CHS) on Thursday, February 28th for a look
at the architecture of Southern California and an introduction
to the materials in the Calabasas Historical Society Collection
on this subject. While they will briefly observe examples
of the adobe mission churches/homes and Victorian era buildings,
the primary emphasis will be on more contemporary styles and
architects. The CHS will look at the work of Charles and
Henry Green, Frank Lloyd Wright, R.M. Schindler, Richard Neutra,
and Frank Gehry, among others.
