In September, we started our discussion of William Mulholland and the bringing of Owens Valley water to Los Angeles via the Los Angeles Aqueduct. This month we will use the resources of the CHS Collection to examine the failure of the St. Francis Dam and the controversy about the cause of the disaster that took over 400 lives in 1928.
