Ventura Freeway (Highway 101) in Calabasas:
All Lanes Closed on Four Consecutive Nights for Bridge Construction

All lanes of the US-101 freeway in Calabasas (the Ventura Freeway) will be closed on four consecutive nights starting at 12:01 a.m. Tuesday, May 2, Caltrans announced today.

Signs are in place to notify drivers of the closures, and detours will be posted. Some lane closures may be required in addition to those listed here.

The following schedule is weather-permitting and subject to change:
 
Monday, May 1, starting at 10 p.m.: Up to two lanes closed in both directions.
Tuesday, May 2, from 12:01 a.m. to 5 a.m.: All lanes closed in both directions.
Tuesday, May 2, starting at 10 p.m.: Up to two lanes closed in both directions.
Wednesday, May 3, from 12:01 a.m. to 5 a.m.: All lanes closed in both directions.
Wednesday, May 3, starting at 10 p.m.: Up to two lanes closed in both directions.
Thursday, May 4, from 12:01 a.m. to 5 a.m.: All lanes closed in both directions.
Thursday, May 4, starting at 10 p.m.: Up to two lanes closed in both directions.
Friday, May 5, from 12:01 a.m. to 5 a.m.: All lanes closed in both directions.
 
All lanes will be opened by 6 a.m. each morning.

The full freeway closure is required for bridge construction at the US-101 interchange at Lost Hills Road in Calabasas.

Caltrans reminders drivers to "Be Work Zone Alert" and "Slow for the Cone Zone."
