Calabasas Boys’
High School Team Wins First Round
State Playoff Game

The Calabasas High
Boys’ basketball team beat Frontier
High of Bakersfield 86-56 in a
first-round state
playoff
game played at Calabasas High on
Wednesday night. The Coyotes jumped
out to an early 14-2 lead and never
looked back, taking a 37-19 lead at
the half.
Calabasas (28-3)
will host Saturday's second-round
game against the winner of St. John
Bosco and Mission Bay.
The team has dedicated tonight’s
game and the entire season to
assistant coach Joe Frazier, who was
struck by a hit-and-run driver on
Aug. 25 while riding his motorcycle
and remains in a coma.
CTV - The Calabasas Channel had an
opportunity to visit with the team
earlier in the week as they
practiced for the big game.
