SCHOOL BUS SERVICE IMPROVEMENTS |
|
The
City of Calabasas and the Las Virgenes Unified School District are
improving and expanding the
School-to-Home program. Numerous upgrades to service will please
parents and students and ensure a safe, efficient ride to
school in an increasingly difficult traffic environment. Ten buses
are being added to the system and the cost for Calabasas residents is
now only $99 per student per semester and $49 for the “early bus.” To
alleviate overcrowding, there is a strict two student per bench seat
limit and travel time is thirty minutes or less. Concerned parents
can also be assured that disciplinary action will be taken against
students misbehaving while riding the bus to and from school. The
City has created a
Public Service Announcement to further explain the improvements.
To register your student or to get more information about the improved
School-to-Home program, please call (818) 878-4225 ext. 261.
