OF POLLING PLACES AND PRECINCT BOARD MEMBERS |

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN
that at the General Municipal Election to be held in the
City of Calabasas on Tuesday, March 8, 2011, there shall
be 7 voting precincts consisting of consolidations of
the regular election precincts in the City established
for the holding of state and county elections, that the
polling places for the respective precincts shall be the
places designated, that the persons named have been
appointed officers of election for their respective
voting precincts, as of 15 days prior to the election.

individuals to serve as a Canvassing Board, to canvass
vote-by-mail ballots for the General Municipal Election
to be held on Tuesday, March 8, 2011.
The canvassing will commence at 9:00 a.m.
on Monday, March 7, 2011, at Calabasas City Hall, 100

NOTICE OF MANUAL TALLY
AND SELECTION OF THE PRECINCTS TO BE TALLIED |

The City Clerk of the City of Calabasas
has designated that Calabasas City Hall, 100 Civic
Center Way, Conference Room 2, will be the place for the
manual tally of the ballots for 1 percent of the
precincts of the General Municipal Election held on
March 8, 2011. This manual tally will be held on
Thursday, March 10, 2011 at 9:00 a.m. Prior to the
conduct of the manual tally, the election official will
randomly select one (1) precinct to be tallied.

- NOMINATION PERIOD EXTENDED |

NOTICE IS
HEREBY GIVEN that a General Municipal Election will be
held in the City of Calabasas on Tuesday, March 8, 2011, for the following
Officers:
For 2 Members of the City Council Full term of four years
The nomination period for these offices begins on November
15, 2010 and closes on December 10, 2010 at 4:30 p.m.
If nomination papers for an incumbent officer of the city
are not filed by December 10, 2010 (the 88th day before the
election), the voters shall have until the 85th day before the
election, December 15, 2010, to nominate candidates other than the person(s) who
are the incumbents on the 88th day before the election, for that
incumbent’s elective office. This extension is not applicable where there is no
incumbent eligible to be elected.
PLEASE NOTE: The deadline for submission of nomination papers has been extended
to December 15, 2010 at 4:30 p.m. due to the fact that neither of the incumbents
has filed for nomination.
