UPDATE: The deadline for voters to request
absentee ballots is officially past. You may request a late application if one
of the following reasons applies to you: Sudden illness or disability, physical
handicap, or absence from election precinct. In order for you to apply for a
late application, please contact the City Clerk’s Office at (818) 878-4225.
Absentee ballot applications
are available to any registered voter and may be obtained by clicking
here to download an application,
picking up an application at the City Hall Reception Desk or contacting the City
Clerk's Office at (818) 878-4225. The mail-in ballot period begins on February
5, 2007 and continues until February 27, 2007. Between these days (including
both days), any registered voter who submits an application to the City Clerk’s
Office will receive an official ballot and will be eligible to vote by mail. In
order to be counted, ballots must be received,
via mail, fax or in person, in the City Clerk’s Office no later than Election
Day, March 6, 2007. Postmarks will not
be accepted.
