Transportation/Transit is responsible for providing a safe and efficient transportation system that supports a balanced use of vehicular, pedestrian, transit and bicycle activity while servicing the residential, commercial and industrial needs of the community. This includes oversight of the design and maintenance of all traffic control devices on City property, signs, markings, traffic signals and signal lighting maintenance and operation, and the operation and maintenance of public transit programs.
