Emergency
& Risk Management
The Risk Management Analyst (RMA) is
responsible for the administration of the City's emergency and risk
management programs, under the direction of the Chief Financial Officer,
Gary Lysik.
Emergency
Management - Programs and procedures to prepare the City for
emergencies. These Programs include:
Risk Management
- Programs and procedures are established to identify and minimize the
City's exposure to risk. These programs include:
- The City is part of the California Joint
Powers Insurance Authority Program
- The
Public Safety Commission advises the
City Council on matters related to Public Safety, Crime and Fire
Prevention, Emergency Preparedness and Response, Service contracts with
Public Safety Agencies and related matters.
The RMA is the staff liaison to the Public
Safety Commission and the Calabasas Emergency Response Program.
The RMA is the City liaison to the Los
Angeles County Operational Area B and the Las Virgenes - Malibu Council of
Governments.
