With content drawn from literature, the Bible, European tradition, and contemporary American problems, this series aims to sharpen moral reasoning without trying to persuade you to adopt a particular position. As we Americans enter the 21^st century we seem to have lost our sense of community. This loss has left many of us asking the most fundamental of all ethical questions: Who are my neighbors and what do I owe them?
