David J. Chernobylsky

Author David J. Chernobylsky, discussing his book, "The Perspective - A Medical Volunteer Experience", at the Calabasas Library with host Karyn Foley.

It all started in a patientís room at Kaiser Permanente when David was 17-years-old and had just started recording his experiences as a medical volunteer.  Over the course of a year, he logged not only about what it means to volunteer in the hospital setting, but also the life lessons that one learns when coping with death, commitment, and most importantly, people.

"The Perspective - A Medical Volunteer Experience", offers Chernobylskyís first hand experiences in the medical field while volunteering at Kaiser Permanente in Woodland Hill.
