2. (7:30 PM) A draft ordinance amending Chapter 17.12.170 of the Calabasas Municipal Code by updating the standards and requirements applied to the development of accessory dwelling units (also referred to as second units, in-law units, or granny flats), as required to comply with new California law.
City staff has determined that the project is exempt from environmental review in accordance with Section 21084 of the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) and the following sections of the CEQA Guidelines: Section 15002(i)(1) -- Lack of Local Jurisdictional Discretion; and, Section 15061(b)(3) -- General Rule of Exemption.

Adjournment to the regular meeting of the Planning Commission on February 2, 2017 at 7:00 P.M. in Council Chambers, City Hall, 100 Civic Center Way.

A copy of the Planning Commission agenda packet, staff reports and supporting documents and any materials related to an item on this Agenda submitted to the Planning Commission after distribution of the agenda packet are available for review by the public in the Community Development Department located at Calabasas City Hall, 100 Civic Center Way. City Hall office hours are 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., Monday through Thursday and 7:30 a.m. - 2:00 p.m. every Friday.
