Sheriff's Station would like to advise the public of a website which is
designed to give an overview of DNA analysis for friends and family of
missing persons. If you are interested in
the process that forensic scientists go through to identify human
remains or what DNA can and cannot do, then visit

The website also describes the source of
DNA that forensic scientists might use, and explains the difference
between nuclear and mitochondrial DNA.
