California Social Studies Fact Cards is a free database of information on subjects such as Missions, Explorers and Indian tribes.  There is no password or username required. 

 

Common Sense Media is a website for information on movies and movie ratings for parents and guardians. 

Digital Public Library of America

Getty Publications Virtual are free digital backlist titles from the Getty Publications Archives.

The Huell Howser Archives at Chapman University have a variety of streaming videos available to the public.  These include his shows on the Missions and other California Landmarks.  Click on Video Archives for access.

This Week in California History is a new digital resource for exploring California history. It posts "what's up" from history in the week ahead. It is multicultural, games based, promotes field trips, living history and storytelling.
